Good opportunity to get a vintage Tenor Saxophone with sturdy case for your collection.
Manufactured by the Buescher Band Instrument Company, which was based in Elkhart, Indiana.
Elkhart instruments were produced by the Buescher Band Instrument Company, which operated in Elkhart, Indiana, from 1894 to 1963.
I’d imagine this sax is 1950s to early 1960s possibly earlier.
New mouthpiece with reed.
Dimensions: Bell opening 5.5″ / 14cm. Body: 29″ / 74cm
Looks like it should play/function as intended. A patch of plating on back has been rubbed of with time where the thumb goes. Lacquer showing its age overall. Case is in nice condition. See photos to get a better idea and ask if not sure.
